Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 5 September 2026

These terms apply to website use and travel services requested from Ancient Wonders Tours through ancientwonderstours.com/, WhatsApp, email or another confirmed sales channel. A booking becomes binding only when we issue written confirmation and any required payment has been received.

1. Quotes and bookings

Website content is an invitation to request a booking, not a guarantee of availability. Quotes are based on the dates, number of travelers, room arrangements, transport category, language and inclusions stated in the proposal. Availability and price can change until written confirmation is issued.

2. Prices and payment

The confirmed quote will state the currency, total price, deposit or full-payment deadline, accepted payment method and any supplier-specific conditions. Bank, card or currency-conversion charges applied by a traveler’s provider are the traveler’s responsibility unless the confirmation says otherwise. We will not request payment through an account or link that has not been confirmed through our official contact details.

3. Traveler information

Travelers must provide accurate names, contact details, pickup information, group composition and any relevant mobility, health, dietary or assistance needs. Errors or late changes may cause additional supplier charges. Each traveler is responsible for passports, visas, permits, insurance and entry requirements that apply to them.

4. Cancellations by the traveler

For a day tour or private transfer, the default policy is a full refund when cancellation is received at least 24 hours before the confirmed start time, and no refund for cancellations within 24 hours or for a no-show. A different policy applies when it is clearly stated in the booking confirmation.

Multi-day packages, Nile cruises, Dahabiyas, hotels, domestic transport and special-event arrangements may have stricter supplier rules. Those rules and any non-refundable amount will be provided in writing before payment and become part of the booking contract.

5. Changes and cancellations by us

Operational, safety, weather, navigation, site-access or supplier conditions may require a reasonable change to timing, route, vessel, hotel, vehicle or sequence. Where a material confirmed service cannot be supplied, we may offer a comparable alternative, a credit or a refund for the affected service, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

6. Pickup, delays and no-shows

Travelers must be ready at the confirmed pickup point and time. Flight or train details should be checked before travel and delay information shared promptly. Waiting time, missed departures and alternative transport are handled according to the written confirmation and the relevant supplier’s conditions.

7. Conduct, safety and accessibility

Travelers must follow reasonable safety instructions and local laws. We may refuse or end a service when conduct presents a serious risk to the traveler, staff, suppliers, other guests or property. Travelers should disclose accessibility needs before booking so feasibility can be checked; not every historic site, boat or vehicle is fully accessible.

8. Third-party suppliers

Hotels, cruise operators, airlines, balloon operators, guides, drivers and attraction operators may provide parts of a trip under their own operational rules. We remain responsible for our obligations under the confirmed booking and applicable law, but are not responsible for independent services the traveler books directly.

9. Force majeure

Events outside reasonable control may include severe weather, natural disasters, public-health emergencies, government action, civil disturbance, strikes, transport disruption, closure of sites or waterways and similar events. Refunds, credits or changes in such cases depend on recoverable supplier payments, the confirmed terms and applicable law.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. Subject to that rule, Ancient Wonders Tours is not liable for losses caused by inaccurate traveler information, failure to meet passport or visa rules, traveler misconduct, independent bookings or events outside reasonable control. Travelers are strongly encouraged to purchase suitable travel and medical insurance.

11. Complaints

Raise an issue as soon as possible during the trip so there is a reasonable opportunity to help. Formal complaints should be sent to info@ancientwonderstours.com with the booking reference and supporting details.

12. Website content and intellectual property

Website material is provided for general travel planning and may change. It must not be copied, republished or used commercially without permission, except where applicable law allows.

13. Law and contact

These terms are governed by applicable Egyptian law, without removing mandatory consumer rights that apply in a traveler’s place of residence. Questions can be sent to info@ancientwonderstours.com or by WhatsApp at +20 100 161 8353.
